Chungjang-ro, a representative street in Gwangju, is a unique alley where old history and fast changes exist together. Every October, Gwangju Chungjang Festival takes place. The Chungjang Parade includes floats with various themes from the 13 districts. Also, the streets are designed in the style of the ''70-'80s, recreating that period. Visitors can also enjoy tea at old-style cafes or take black-and-white photos at a photo studio.
