「平和市場のタクトンチプ通り」は1972年からの歴史があります。鶏肉だけを売っていると砂肝がたくさん余ってしまい、残った砂肝をどうしようかといつも悩んでいた社長がある日、砂肝を天ぷらにしサービスとして出し始めました。おまけとして始めたタクトンチプ（砂肝）が意外にも評判となり、安くて美味しいと口コミが広まりました。40年以上経った今でも安くて美味しいタクトンチプはたくさんの人から愛されています。
